Sometimes the Francken Friday Lectures devolve into a snoozefest due to the active lifestyles of the Franckenmembers (rather than the talk subjects, which the Fotocie thinks is usually of very high character!). However this energetic lecture about tiny Van-der-Waals-magnets was never boring, and Professor Guimaraes even stayed a while to teach some random sjaars some more facts about our wonderful universe!
