ZIAM Lab Tours
Home to 20 research groups, the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials (ZIAM) is dedicated to the study of novel functional materials through device fabrication and operation at the nanoscale. Third-year Bsc Applied Physics students are to complete their bachelor research project at one of these research groups, and non-Applied Physics students can also do their research projects here. As such, it is good to see the labs prior to your research project to see if you are already interested in a specific lab or research group.
You are of course also welcome to join if you are a first or second-year student!
The professor or PhD students of the groups will explain what they research and demonstrate it in the lab. You can sign up through this form.
