Thales Lunch Lecture

Join us for the Thales lunch lecture on March 28 at 11am!

"A study in physics provides an elaborate set of skills applicable to many fields and applications. Radar systems form an example of such an application. Making use of highly advanced technologies and intelligent algorithms, objects can be detected up to distances of 3000km (roughly the distance from the Netherlands to Ukraine) and determine their characteristics (such as position and velocity) with great accuracy. In this seminar, I will discuss how my background in astroparticlephyiscs helps me to model the performance of radarsystems and investigate new innovations."
